Cradlebound | Gothic

A handmade frame, gothic, macabre and quietly theatrical, for those who appreciate the finer things in death.

Two cast newborn skulls sit side by side in an ornate double frame, each within its own oval opening against black velvet. The skulls are hand-painted with a warm, aged patina, framed by black ornamentation with silver highlights.

As one of my more accessible designs, this piece has a simpler reverse, without velvet or lace. This keeps the focus on the decorative front while offering my handmade work at a gentler price.
