A haunting woodland relic sealed within an ornate baroque frame — where decay, beauty, and silence intertwine. Snake skeleton arranged within a handmade, hand-cast and hand-painted shadowbox frame, sealed under glass.

A preserved composition of natural elements — moss, delicate fungi, dried flowers and resin details — forming a damp, living micro-landscape.

Two butterflies — Pieris rapae and Polyommatus icarus — rest within the scene, their soft presence contrasting with the fine, articulated structure of the serpent. Each element is intentionally placed to balance fragility and permanence, decay and quiet continuity. A contained fragment of nature, suspended in time.

LORE

They say these relics appear only where the water stands still long enough to remember. In the drowned forests — where roots twist beneath black water and the air hums with unseen life — serpents are not symbols of danger, but of passage. When they shed their final form, the swamp does not consume them. It preserves them. Butterflies gather there — drawn not to decay, but to the quiet magic left behind. Some believe they carry fragments of memory. Others say they are guardians, keeping the boundary between worlds intact. These pieces are not made. They are found… or given. And those who keep them too close for too long begin to dream of wet earth, soft light, and something watching gently from beneath the surface.
