A one-of-a-kind handmade gothic shadowbox — venomous, tender and cathedral-dark, for those who understand that love and poison have always been the same thing.

Two real preserved black scorpions arranged in the shape of a heart — tails curled inward, claws reaching toward each other — against a field of deep crimson velvet. Above them, a hand-carved gothic tracery window, the kind found in the great cathedrals of Europe, where the stone was cut to let in light and ended up letting in something else entirely. Dried roses gather at their feet. The whole piece is set into a hand-carved wooden frame, built from scratch, every detail deliberate.

This is a love story. It is just not a safe one.

Veneficium — the old Latin word for poison, for sorcery, for the kind of love that works slowly and cannot be undone.
