A one-of-a-kind handmade gothic shadowbox, created for lovers of dark, feminine and whimsical aesthetics. This piece features a real preserved tarantula specimen displayed within an ornate hand-cast, hand-painted silver frame with delicate metallic violet rose and vine detailing. The tarantula rests within a heart-shaped inner frame, also silver with metallic violet rose accents, surrounded by a black lace ornament and two smaller decorative ornaments. At the base of the composition, a delicate arrangement of dried flowers adds an ethereal, feminine touch. The background is lined with deep purple velvet.

About the frame:
The frame is entirely handmade from start to finish. I cast it myself from my own original moulds, then sand, paint and lacquer each piece by hand. The glass is hand-cut to fit. The wooden back is sanded and lined with velvet, then finished with lace trim. No two frames are identical.
