A real mink skull rests in a bed of living-green moss and lichen, surrounded by dried mushrooms, wildflowers, a snail shell, star anise, cinnamon and raw crystals. Everything the forest holds close — gathered, arranged, preserved. Set within a hand-cast, hand-painted baroque frame in aged black and gold, sealed with hand-cut glass. The back of the frame is finished with black velvet and lace.
