The Bumblebee's Garden | Woodland
A one-of-a-kind handmade glass dome — whimsical, wild and quietly enchanted, for those who believe the garden never really ends.
A real preserved bumblebee rests on a fantastical moss-covered branch, wings still, as if she has simply paused between flowers. Beneath her: a real mouse skeleton, arranged among pine cones, dried mushrooms, lichen, and an abundance of dried flowers in pink, violet and white — hydrangeas, clover, delicate blooms gathered as if by someone who could not choose a favourite. Everything grows from a bed of living-green moss, sealed forever under hand-blown glass.
The dome sits on a decorated base with a small brass plaque. A world complete in itself.

LORE
She did not mean to stay.
She landed on the branch
the way bumblebees always do —
briefly, purposefully,
with somewhere else to be.
But the flowers were too many
and too beautiful
and the mouse below
had been sleeping for so long
that the moss had grown
to keep him warm.
She decided
the garden needed a guardian.
She has not left since.
The flowers have not wilted.
Nothing here does.
