Ossuary Maswerk | Other Insects
A one-of-a-kind handmade gothic wall decor piece, created for lovers of dark, macabre and occult aesthetics.
At the centre of this composition sits a real preserved Nephilia vitiana spider, surrounded by an intricate maswerk of real animal bones — mouse skulls, rat skulls, a bird skull, a fox jaw, bird vertebrae and small ribs, arranged with obsessive precision against deep crimson velvet. Aroudn the oval you can see antique black lace that finishes the composition within a heavy hand-cast, hand-painted baroque frame in aged black and gold, sealed with hand-cut glass.
This is not decoration. This is a reliquary.

LORE
They did not die here.
They were gathered.
Each skull placed with intention,
each bone chosen for its shape,
its weight, its memory.
The spider holds the centre
as it always has —
patient, still, sovereign.
Around it, the maswerk turns
in a language older than prayer:
this is what remains.
This is what endures.
This is the only geometry
that matters.
