A one-of-a-kind handmade frame — dark, ornate and quietly nocturnal, for those who keep the moon's hours. Within a hand-cut, hand-designed wooden frame, finished in black with hand-painted ornamental details, rests a half-mummified, half-skeletal bat against black velvet and gold lace.

This massive shadowbox is centered around three quartz moons, an ornamental plaque and hand-finished wooden details, creating a theatrical nocturnal display piece with a distinctly macabre character.

About the frame:
The frame is entirely handmade from start to finish. I cut it myself from wood, design is my own, then sand, paint and lacquer each piece by hand. The glass is hand-cut to fit. The wooden back is sanded and lined with velvet, then finished with lace trim. No two frames are identical.
