Nox Solitudinis | Gothic
A one-of-a-kind handmade gothic display — dark, ceremonial and deeply unsettling in the most beautiful way, for those who understand that some altars are not built but summoned.
At the centre rises a crow skull, pale and long-beaked, crowned with hand-carved black horns that curl upward with the authority of something that has never needed to explain itself. On its forehead, a metal raven skull — small, ornate, silver — sits like a sigil pressed into bone. Surrounding the skull, black vampire candles with deep red cores stand at varying heights, their wax dripping in frozen rivers down their sides. Before it all: a quartz crystal orb on a gilded stand, catching whatever light dares enter. Rolled scrolls lie crossed on the black glittering base, alongside a small ornate bloody bottle and a hand-painted miniature human skulls. A wax rose, deep red, rests among the black shimmering sand and wax that covers the floor of the composition. Black feather-like flowers frame the edges. The base itself is heavily ornamented — carved, detailed, and finished with the kind of attention that makes it as much a part of the piece as everything above it.

Lore:
There are nights that do not end. Not because the sun fails to rise — it rises, punctually, indifferent — but because something in them refuses to conclude. They linger in the corners of rooms. They settle into the grain of old wood. They make a home in the space between one breath and the next, and they stay there, quiet and permanent, long after the candles have burned to nothing.
Nox Solitudinis is what's it called.
