A one-of-a-kind handmade gothic shadowbox — dark, sovereign and deeply corvid, for those who have always known that crows are watching and have never minded.

A real crow skull — beak open, eye sockets wide — presides over a field of deep burgundy velvet, flanked by real raven feathers, black and iridescent as oil on water. A carved obsidian crow stands sentinel below. Miniature skulls gather at the base like offerings. A real crow’s foot reaches from the shadows. The whole piece is set behind hand-cut glass in a hand-cast, hand-painted baroque frame — every scroll and flourish made by hand, gilded and darkened, the kind of frame that belongs in a cabinet of curiosities that has never been open to the public.
